Scotland's colleges provide a wide range of programmes in all major academic and vocational areas. These programmes are mainly, certificated by the Scottish Qualifications Authority, an agency of the Scottish government. All the members of SCI are well established government funded colleges.
Programmes can lead to BA/BSc either within the college or through well established links to Universities in Scotland. Most students will exit after two years with a Higher National Diploma or after four years with a BA (Hons)/BSc (Hons).
After achieving their HND or Degree students will be eligible to participate in the Fresh Talent initiative which provides students with the opportunity to spend a further two years working in Scotland and add value to their award.
