Scottish Government sent a letter to the Consul General, Mr Ramesh Chander at the end of last week providing him with a list of all the properly incorporated colleges and universities in Scotland.
This has been done to avoid any confusion over bogus colleges that had made the news the previous month.
The Consul, Mr Srinivasan has written back thanking Scottish Government for the information and saying it will be useful in dealing with cases of visa applications received from members of staff of the various colleges and universities.
